La voz de la sangre paisajes y leyendas del distrito de Altar

Carmela Reyna de León was a Mexican author who witnessed the Mexican Revolution.

The collection includes a photocopy of a typescript compilation of legends and historic accounts, as told to Carmela Reyna de León by her family and friends living in the Altar region of Sonora, Mexico. Also included are a few song verses and a photocopied letter, with translation, written by Reyna de León to Norman Simons of Tucson, AZ, dated October 5, 1965. The letter concerns the possible translation of this compiled volume. Pages for photographic illustrations of people and places have descriptive labels; images are not present in this copy.
