Crazy Weather
Description
Approaching his fifteenth year, South Boy decides to do something besides read a book in the 100-degree heat that stifles the air in the mesquite patches around the Colorado River. A plunge in the cool river to avoid the responsibilities of work and the drama of approaching adulthood results in a decision to go north for four days with his Mojave friend, Havek. The pair recall dreams and hear singers as they make their way through desert and reservation, encountering cowboys and witches in this world and the other.
