Omar Raul Martinez Sanchez discusses his foundation, Manuel Buendía, named after an investigative journalist who was assassinated in 1984, describing his aspirations in the field and how the investigative journalism has changed in the past three decades. Martinez deliberates the risks and struggles that journalists in Mexico go through as well as improvements that would help organizations better assist and advocate for journalists and for freedom of expression. A central theme of the interview is the lack of unity among journalists.

Omar Raúl Martínez habla de su fundación, Manuel Buendía, nombrada en honor al periodista investigador asesinado en 1984. Platica de sus aspiraciones en el área del reportaje investigador y de la manera en que el periodismo ha cambiado en las últimas tres décadas. Martínez delibera los riesgos y retos por los que pasan periodistas en México, al igual de la necesidad de cambio en organizaciones enfocadas a advocar por periodistas y por la libertad de expresión. Uno de los principales temas abordados por Martínez es la falta de unidad entre periodistas.
