Canadian History

Sarah Ellen Roberts was a pioneer near Stettler, Alberta, Canada from 1906 to 1911.

The collection contains a photocopy of a manuscript accompanied by a typed transcription. The manuscript is an autobiographical account of the homesteading experiences of the Roberts family which consisted of Sarah, her physician husband, and their three sons, Frank, Lathrop, and Brockway. It begins in Western Canada in 1906, ending when they return to the United States in 1911.
