Armstrong Uniforms of Chicago Brochure, 1899

Charles L. G. Anderson (1863-1952) was a surgeon in the U.S. Army; 9th Infantry at Whipple Barracks and Fort McDowell, AZ; later at Newport News, VA. The collection contains letters, receipts, bills, orders, and other materials chiefly relating to Arizona military service. Also includes material concerning service in Virginia, and a printed copy of his address "Arizona as a Health Resort," April 9, 1890, to the Washington County Medical Society in Maryland.
