The collection contains the original typescript of the play The Child Genius, a one act play, written by Dorothy Heighton Monro and performed at the University of Arizona in the early 1920s.

The play is accompanied by printed programs of performances given at The University of Arizona and Los Angeles in 1923, two letters, and an evaluation of the play by Professor Frances Perry of the University’s English Department.
