Hazeltine Family Collection

Mr. Arthur B. Hazeltine of Kansas and Miss Desra C. Gana of Kentucky were married in their new Tucson home by Reverend D. Carl Williams, January 23, 1908. Arthur Hazeltine was former secretary to the Kansas state Speaker of the House of Representatives, moved to Tucson and gained employment with the Randolph lines in the office of chief engineer. Their son, Alfred Oliver, was born November 1, 1910.

Item 1, 1908: Contains one small wedding book of Arthur B. Hazeltine and Desra C. Gann. The wedding book titled, Married Life, is 57 pages and includes a page with the couple's signed marriage certificate, names of wedding guests, Bible verses, poems, prayers, and two loose newspaper clippings. Item 2, 1910-1911: Contains one small baby book of Alfred Oliver Hazeltine titled The Book of Our Baby, includes birth information, three 1.5 x 2 inch photographs of the child and family members, gift list and names of givers, first year events, and a lock of Alfred's hair at one year old.
