History of the Eastern Arizona Stake of Zion and of the Establishment of the Snowflake Stake

Joseph Fish was a pioneer merchant, bookkeeper, and amateur historian. He was a stake recorder for Eastern Arizona Stake and Snowflake Stake from 1879 to 1893.

The collection contains a typescript history related to events while Fish was a stake recorder. A brief history of each Mormon settlement in Arizona (St. Johns, Eagar, and Snowflake) and New Mexico (Pleasanton and Luna) are present; as well as coverage of murders committed and prosecutions for polygamy.
