John R. Reeder and Charlotte Goodding Reeder papers

John Raymond Reeder and Charlotte Goodding Reeder were American agrostologists known for their expertise regarding grasses found in the western and southwestern United States and northern and central Mexico. They discovered and named several new species of grasses and concluded their research work at the University of Arizona Herbarium. This collection consists of biographical materials, professional and personal correspondence, and research files related to their work on grasses. Also included are publications, photographic materials, and scrapbooks focused on botanical subject matters.
