The collection consists of single issues, partial and complete runs of approximately 615 little magazines, published chiefly from 1965 to 1976. Primary emphasis is on the arts, with the majority devoted to poetry. Most of the periodicals are published in the United States; other countries represented are Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, Argentina, Venezuela, South Africa, Kenya, Australia, India, Norway, Great Britain, France, Germany, and Canada. Arizona publications include Poet's Calliope, The Desert Rune, and Changes.
