Anne Merriman Peck (1884-1976) was a writer, artist, and illustrator. She started her career in New York working for magazine companies and publishing several children's books. In 1948, Peck moved to Tucson, AZ and taught courses at the University of Arizona. She began working on books focused on the state of Arizona including her most famous: The March of Arizona History (1962).

The collection contains a typescript of The March of Arizona History, including holograph notes.
