Samuel Morris was a lawyer with Morris and Malott of Globe, AZ, Director of Miami Copper Company, and Chairman of the Arizona Copper Tariff Board. He became a director of Tennessee Corporation in 1960. The collection contains a tribute detailing Samuel Morris' professional life. The collection is accompanied by letter of transmittal from R. R. Burns, president of Tennessee Corporation, to Richard A. Harvill, president of The University of Arizona, and a copy of President Harvill's acknowledgment.
