Observations, Elements of the Orbit and Emphemeris of Swift's Comet (1892) and Pleiades (1899)

Milton Updegraff (1861-1938) was an astronomer, professor, and director of the Observatory at the University of Missouri from 1890 to 1899.

This collection contains Updegraff’s holograph observations of Swift's Comet after its 1892 discovery. It includes an 1898 chart of Trails of Leonid Meteors, and a section of observations of the stars in the Pleiades group, made from the Laws Observatory, University of Missouri in 1899.
