The Loujon Press was started in the early 1960s by free-lance editors Jon Edgar Webb and "Gypsy" Lou Webb. The press later relocated to Tucson, AZ and Albuquerque, NM. The Webbs designed and produced several limited edition works by Charles Bukowski and Henry Miller.
The collection contains the proof file for the 1966 edition of Henry Miller’s Order and Chaos Chez Hans Reichel published by Loujon Press in Tucson, AZ. There are numerous notations and corrections by Miller. A copy of the large photograph of Miller from the front inside cover of the book is also present. The collection also includes newspaper articles and promotional broadsides, from 1966 to 1970, about Miller, the Loujon Press, and the Webbs. The materials are accompanied by portraits and illustrations with holograph notes. Note: chapter 14 is missing and chapter 15 is a holograph manuscript.
