Papers of the People's Committee Against Gambling

The People's Committee Against Gambling was a group formed to defeat Initiative Measure 302-303, which aimed to legalize gambling in Arizona. David Brinegar was its director.

The collection includes a journal of activities, news releases, financial statements, and related papers; chiefly typescript material, with holograph notations, pertaining to a statewide campaign to defeat proposed legislation aimed at legalizing gambling in Arizona. Also included is a 1981 interview with David Brinegar about the campaign.
