Papers of Rollin Malbone Pease

Rollin Malbone Pease was a bass-baritone concert artist known for his performance of the piece entitled “Elijah.” Pease was a professor of music at the University of Arizona from 1931 to 1951.

The collection contains scrapbooks and correspondence relating to his career, as well as programs, clippings, rollbooks, music scores, photographs, and other related biographical material. Also in the collection are many items pertaining to Pease’s tenure at the University, photographs of a 1956 testimonial dinner for Pease, and his participation in the Tucson community and church affairs.
