The Harshaw Mining Company was based in San Francisco, CA and New York City, NY, operating in the Harshaw Mining District, Santa Cruz County, AZ.

The collection consists of contracts, assay reports, and general inventories of company. Included are two ledgers, the first contains 27 pages of contracts and assay reports; the second contains inventories of the company followed by a newer section written in another hand and dated 1908, containing company store accounts on p. 124-153.
