The Tucson Mining and Smelting Company was an English mining company operating in Silverbell Mining District in Pima County, AZ. John Francis was manager of the company.

The collection contains correspondence, business records, legal papers, and related material pertaining to company operations, together with the records of its predecessor, the Cañada del Oro Mines. Also included are payroll records from 1898 to 1899, a daybook and ledgers from 1891 to 1900, inventories, assay reports, and other materials.
