Records of the Yavapai Cattle Growers (Association)

Photograph of a Calf Sale by Matt Culley, 1963

Yavapai Cattle Growers Association was a Prescott-based association organized in 1931 with the goal to promote the cattle industry in Yavapai County, AZ. The collection includes correspondence, financial records, membership lists, reports, photographs, and other materials relating to the formation of the organization, as well as its history and activities. Also enclosed are similar records of the Junior Yavapai Cattle Growers Association. Photographs pertain to calf sales in the 1930s and 1960s, as well as a scrapbook with photographs of members of the earlier association in 1913, and of the Junior Yavapai Cattle Growers in the 1940s and 50s.
