Excerpt from Teacher to the Mojaves: The Experiences of George W. Nock, Edited by Henry Pickering Walker, 1967

George W. Nock, (1843-1922), was a school superintendent at the Colorado River Indian Agency in Arizona Territory from 1887 to 1889. The collection includes a photocopy of autobiographical manuscript concerning Nock's experiences as teacher to the Mojave. Also includes reprints of published Walker article "Teacher to the Mohaves," excerpted from this material.
