Reminiscences of Joseph Kirby Corson

Joseph Kirby Corson was a surgeon for the U.S. Army, and stationed at both Prescott and Yuma, AZ between 1878 and 1882. The collection contains a typescript portion of a reminiscent diary, circa 1910, concerning Kirby’s U.S. Army service. The diary is accompanied by letters from Lt. John McEwen Hyde concerning the Chemehuevi Indians on the Colorado River Indian Reservation in 1880.
