Collection Guide

The Story papers collection consists of several different serialized newspapers that were targeted towards youth and teen readers. Story papers are periodical works that often include serialized fiction, grand illustrations, and smaller stories. These stories were read widely prior to World War II and could be purchased individually--usually for a penny, nickel, or dime--or could be subscribed to on a yearly basis.
