History of the University of Arizona Women's Basketball Program

Pop-up exhibit

Women's basketball pop-up exhibit

If you love our women's basketball team, you'll really love this!

Special Collections has a new pop-up exhibit looking at the history of the University of Arizona women's basketball program.

Our latest pop-up exhibit takes a look from the start of the program all the way up to 2010 featuring items from the Mary Roby Papers (MS 553) and University of Arizona Athletics Collection (MS 564).

Mary Roby was the University of Arizona's first Director of Athletics for Women in 1972, and became Associate Athletic Director for men’s and women’s athletic programs in 1982.

Our athletics collection documents the history of men's and women's athletics from 1913-2011.

Visit our Reading Room to view the exhibit now until Nov. 28. Special Collections is open to the public Monday through Friday, from 9am-4pm.
