Stitching Ambos Nogales

For this project, "Stitching Ambos Nogales", the artist uses quilting as the medium to stitch a new vision for the U.S.-Mexico border region. This quilt asks questions, such as, “What would the line between Ambos Nogales look like if there was no border wall, if animals and humans were free to roam back and forth as needed, if new infrastructure didn’t snake its way along mountainous, rich and complex communities and ecosystems?”
