This is not the Valley of the Dead

“This is not the Valley of the Dead” is a sample of hybrid poems by Xochilt Sequeira whose discursive material is built from free verse, diary entries, and notebook notes. It is, likewise, a project built using the ekphrasis, since it proposes a dialogue between poetry and photography depicting, in most cases, the Sonoran Desert in Arizona.
